You may also make your reservations online All Reservations are subject to the following policies: Accommodations - Prices are based upon double occupancy and include a full breakfast, served from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Each room has a private bath with clawfoot tub with shower. Several rooms have private balconies or porches. One room has a king-size bed. The remaining rooms have a single queen-size bed. Two rooms will accommodate three people. Some rooms have a Celeste fireplace. All rooms have independently- controlled central air conditioning/heat. Rates range from $94 to $163 per night and are subject to a 10% state and local tax. A charge of $20 is added for a third person in the room. Rates are subject to change without notice, except for advance deposit reservations. Please note: we accept reservations for specific rooms, but reserve the right to change to a comparable or upgraded room. Reservations - A deposit equal to one night's room rate is due within seven days of making your reservation; the balance is due upon check-in. Long holiday weekends require a three night minimum stay; weekends between May 1 November 1 require a two night minimum stay. Please check with us as shorter periods are often available for certain rooms. Also, the minimum stay requirement is removed two days before the calendar date. A confirmed reservation obligates both the Folkestone Inn and the guest for the entire length of the stay reserved. Please note: we accept reservations for specific rooms, but reserve the right to change to a comparable or upgraded room. Cancellations - Please understand that with a small family Inn, last minute cancellations have a significant impact on us and other prospective guests we have had to turn away. However, we realize that plans can change. Should your plans change, you are entitled to a full refund less a $20 administrative charge if you call at least fourteen days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. you are responsible for the full amount of your stay less any nights we were able to rebook for the reservation period. This policy also applies to any late date arrivals or early date departures. Transfer of Deposit - You may transfer your deposit to another date as long as it is not within the 14 day cancellation period. Deposits are not transferable within the fourteen day cancellation period; however you are always welcome to send a friend in your place. Minimums - Long holidays weekends require a three night minimum stay; weekends between May 1 and November 1 require a two night minimum stay. Shorter stays may become available, however, so please don't hesitate to call when you have a spur-of-the-moment urge to escape to the mountains. Also, the minimum requirement is removed two days before the calendar date. Groups - We welcome groups and will work with you to create a special getaway including dinners if you wish. An automatic 10% staff gratuity is added to your invoice for all group stays. A deposit of fifty percent is required and is refundable (less a $50 processing fee) if we receive at least forty-five days notice of cancellation. Children - The Inn is best suited for adults, however well-behaved children, age twelve and older, are welcome in rooms that accommodate an additional person. Please let us know in advance if you will be traveling with children. Special for Polar Express guests — during November and December, we welcome children age five and older. However, since not all rooms will accommodate additional guests, arrangements must be made in advance of your stay. Payments - We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover cards, travelers checks and cash. Damages - Guests are responsible for payment of damages made to either the Inn or room furnishings. This includes any excessive cleaning fees. Charges to cover the replacement of damaged items will be applied against the guest's credit or debit card. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Hosted check-in time is between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Check-in after 7:00 p.m. ONLY by prior arrangement. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. |
