The Folkestone Inn offers exceptional Smokey Mountain lodging with ten guest rooms on three floors. All have private baths with old-fashioned clawfoot tub with shower; hair dryers, herbal soaps, shampoos, and bubble bath.

We offer two forms of air conditioning - central air with in-room independent controls, or cool mountain breezes and slowing turning ceiling fans. In some rooms, a Celeste fireplace provides the ambiance of a gently flickering fire. 

Each upstairs room has a private balcony, and each main floor room has a porch or private deck. Of course, all guests enjoy the quiet, seating areas scattered around the grounds, especially the swing and the hammock - perfect for napping.The front porch is a popular spot for socializing or reading a favorite book.

Rates range from $109 to $163 a night, double occupancy. Nine rooms are double occupancy, eight with queen beds and one (Falls & Creeks) with a king bed. One room, Rods & Creels, sleeps three with a queen bed and a twin sleeper sofa. Some rooms offer a balcony, deck or private entrance.

Long holidays weekends require a three night minimum stay; weekends between May 1 and November 1 require a two night minimum stay. Shorter stays may become available, however, so please don't hesitate to call when you have a spur-of-the-moment urge to escape to the mountains. Also, the minimum stay requirement is removed two days before the calendar date.
